Commissioner Lenore Hershey moved the resolution to the floor on November 20. After one anti-Plan delegate insisted on addressing Anne Saunier as “chairman,” the session’s presiding officer replied, “I am not a chair-man, and I don’t plan to become one.” The plank passed without amendment.
